We all have a story to tell… In this workshop, author Licia Canton guides you to find your story and to start writing it. Instructions will be given in English, French, Italian. Participants can write in any language.

Licia Canton has published 12 books. She is the author of The Pink House and Other Stories (2018) and Almond Wine and Fertility (2008, 2018). She is also a literary translator and the editor-in-chief of Accenti Magazine. Her stories, poetry and essays have been anthologized internationally, in English, French, Chinese, Italian and dialect. She mentors emerging writers through the Quebec Writers Federation and evaluates manuscripts for the Writers’ Union of Canada. She has served as President of the Association of Italian Canadian Writers. She is an Honorary Fellow and Translator-in-Residence at the University of Hull, United Kingdom. She holds a Ph.D. from Université de Montréal and an M.A. from McGill University. In 2018 she received the Premio Italia nel Mondo for her work in literature and culture.
