Culinary capsule with chef Davide Bazzali

Chef Davide Bazzali was born in Pontremoli, Tuscany, near Lucca, the hometown of Giacomo Puccini. He spent his formative years in Parma, the city of Giuseppe Verdi. Bazzali began his career as a chef at the age of nineteen after completing his studies at the hotel school of Salsomaggiore. Since then, he has traveled abroad, in Europe as well as in America, exporting his passion and experience in Italian cuisine. Bazzali has also studied theater and voice, and has worked with several musical and theatrical groups in both Canada and Italy. He explores different musical genres. Bazzali owns the company CuisineOpera that is an amalgamation of his two passions; Italian cuisine and opera singing.
